Amazing version of the song "Love Look What Your've Done To Me". This was used in the John Travolta film Urban Cowboy, it was one of 6 Top 40 hits from the soundtrack (a record, tied with Footloose). The other 5 hits were "Can I Have This Dance" (Anne Murray), "All Night Long" (Joe Walsh), "Lookin' For Love" (Johnny Lee), "Love The World Away" (Kenny Rogers) and "Stand By Me" (Mickey Gilley). The song was composed by Scaggs and David Foster ( Canadian musician, record producer, composer, singer, songwriter). David Foster is noted for producing some of the most successful musical artists in the world, including Bryan Adams, Christina Aguilera, Air Supply, All-4-One, The Bee Gees, Andrea Bocelli, Boz Scaggs, Toni Braxton, Michael Bublé, Mariah Carey, Charice, Cher, Chicago, Destiny's Child, Neil Diamond, Céline Dion, Earth Wind and Fire, Gloria Estefan, Jackie Evancho, Josh Groban, Hall & Oates, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Beyoncé Knowles, Kenny Loggins, Madonna, Olivia Newton-John, Nsync, Prince, LeAnn Rimes, Kenny Rogers, Seal, Barbra Streisand, Donna Summer, Tamia, The Tubes and Shania Twain. Boz Scaggs gained fame in the 1960s as a guitarist and occasional lead singer with the Steve Miller Band and in the 1970s with several solo Top 20 hit singles in the United States, along with the #2 album, Silk Degrees. Scaggs continues to write, record music and tour. In 1976, he linked up with session musicians who later formed Toto and recorded his smash album Silk Degrees. The album reached #2 on the US Billboard 200, and #1 in a number of countries across the world, spawning three hit singles: "Lowdown", "Lido Shuffle", and "What Can I Say", as well as the MOR standard "We're All Alone," later recorded by Rita Coolidge and Frankie Valli. "Lowdown" sold over one million copies in the US. A sellout world tour followed, but his follow-up album, the 1977 Down Two Then Left, did not fare as well commercially as Silk Degrees. The 1980 album Middle Man spawned two top 20 hits, "Breakdown Dead Ahead" and "Jojo," and Scaggs enjoyed two more hits in 1980-81 ("Look What You've Done to Me" from Urban Cowboy's soundtrack, and "Miss Sun" from a greatest hits set, both US #14 hits). But Scaggs' lengthy hiatus from the music industry (his next LP, Other Roads, did not appear until 1988) slowed down his chart career dramatically. "Heart of Mine" in 1988, from Other Roads, is Scaggs' latest Top 40 hit. Lyrics: Hope they never end this song This could take us all night long I looked at the moon and I felt blue Then I looked again and I saw you Eyes like fire in the night Bridges burning with their light Now I want to spend the whole night through And Honey, Yes, I'd like to spend it all on you Love, look what you've done to me Never thought I'd fall again so easily Oh, love, you wouldn't lie to me Leading me to feel this way..... They might fade and turn to stone Let's get crazy all alone Hold me closer than you'd ever dare Close your eyes and I'll be there After all is said and done After all you are the one Take me up your stairs and through the door Take me where we don't care anymore..... Love, look what you've done to me Never thought I'd fall again so easily Oh, love, you wouldn't lie to me ...would you Leading me to feel this way..... Love, look what you've done to me Never thought I'd fall again so easily Oh, love, you wouldn't lie to me Leading me to feel this way...
